Section 172
Disposition versions
172. Before giving the official signal for the start of the race, the starting judge must order a recall where:
(1) a horse scores ahead of the starting gate;
(2) there is interference from a horse or a driver;
(3) a horse’s equipment breaks;
(4) a horse falls;
(5) a situation of superior force exists.
